Consulting & Workshops

Find the right immersive opportunity before you build

Start with the right idea

Not every brief starts with a clear answer. Some teams know they should be looking at immersive or AI and do not yet know what for. Others have an idea and want to know whether it will work, what it will cost and what to build first. Our workshops and consulting cover both. Teams leave with a prioritised, costed plan, and the advice comes from thirty years of building this work ourselves.

Two workshop formats

We run two formats. Both are led by people who build AR and VR day to day, and both include hands-on time with real experiences rather than slides about them.

Digital Reality Demonstration

An introductory session for teams who want to understand the difference between AR, VR and mixed reality and see each in action. We define what the technologies can and cannot do, run through cases where they solved a real communication problem, and hand round headsets, phones and tablets so everyone tries a range of AR apps and VR experiences. It suits small teams, and organisations that want to hold their own in conversations with suppliers and partners.

Attendees leave knowing the forms of digital reality, how they differ and where each is used. They also take away a resource pack with summaries of the topics covered and a selection of AR apps to try at home on a phone or tablet.

Idea Generation Workshop

A more advanced session for teams who want to turn their own ideas into something buildable. We cover how AR, VR, mixed reality and immersive AI are used across industries, then focus the demonstrations on your market and your business problems. Idea generation exercises follow, and we finish with an overview of hardware so you know which platforms suit which kinds of experience.

The aim is at least one well-developed idea for a piece of AR or VR content, often with the beginnings of a storyboard or a brief. The same resource pack comes with it.

Consulting

Where a team already knows the problem it wants to solve, we work alongside them to scope the response: which technology fits, roughly what it will cost, what to build first and what can wait.

How we work

We would rather set your ideas in motion than supply them. Ideas that come from inside an organisation tend to be more original and better matched to what it needs, so our job in a workshop is to give people enough understanding and confidence to generate their own. The technologies we cover are used for entertainment, education and training, product and environment simulation, and troubleshooting, and we bring examples from each.

Yes. The sessions include AI video avatars, conversational characters, adaptive training and synthetic media alongside AR and VR, and we focus the demonstrations on whichever matters most to your business.
